Very similar to Federation VS Zeon this game has nearly all its menus displayed constantly on screen but as smaller icons that enlarge once selected.  Only the things that you need to see are constantly shown while the rest are displayed as icons.  This is typical of FPS were your objectives are much smaller than that of an RPG since the main point is just to kill everything that moves, were RPG’S  have many objectives and killing things is only a smaller part since they are much more story based.
